I was thinking after christmas about making my bunny a 2nd level and I had a couple of question. I want to say I am not a carpenter and dont really have any stills like that. I was going to add a 2nd level using NIC cubes. I was going to attach them using cable ties is that ok or do I need a rod underneath? My next question is what can I put as the floor ontop of the nic cubes? Right now i have cermamic tile as her floor of her cage. I am worried if I put the cermamic tile on top and she jumps off the tile will fall off. My other question is do alot of rabbits get injured with a 2nd floor? thanks

Is your condo made out of NIC cubes? I think you’ve said before but I can’t remember… It’s much easier, rather than building with NIC cubes (if yours is made out of NIC cubes) to just put two dowels between the two walls and said a piece of wood down or something sturdy like that. We attempted the bottoms made out of NIC cubes thing and it was really a pain. Just using dowels is really efficient and not a hassel at all. Takes less than 2 minutes to install the whole thing!

Yes her cage is made out of nic cubes. What type of wood did you put down? and did you put anything on top of the wood?
