Does anyone know a good kind of brush for Rex rabbits? My normal brush I use on my Netherland Dwarf doesn’t really work on my mini Rex, Sooki. Also she hates the brush because I think it tines on the brush hurt her and it makes her hair static-y. Any suggestion on a good soft brush would be great!

The only thing I found that worked on my Mini-Rex was the small animal furminator. That and wet hands.

I like the furbuster comb, but rubbing a rex with wet hands (or a sticky roller) works well too. They are a bit tough because they don’t really have fur to “brush through”. With both of your buns, you can rub them lightly with damp hands after grooming to pick up loose fur. Don’t soak them, but just wet the top of the fur.

A sticky roller I didn’t think about that.

I like to use a pumice stone on my Mini Rex if that helps. He loves it. The little guy purrs up a storm!

I use a horse grooming block for my Mini Rex. It’s called Slick “N Easy Horse Grooming Block, I think it’s similar to a pumice stone but seems more porous, almost like a really crunchy kitchen sponge. It does a great job removing loose hair and shining him right up though! It’s also anti-static, which is great since he has a natural ability for gathering dust bunnies all over otherwise haha.
