my new one marshmallow (pet shop).

when i first got him he had soft poohs that he would step all over and it would stick to the floor he would also produce a lot of those grape like poohs he needs to eat. however with more hay it got better and poohs were looking normal however once and a while (not every day) again soft poohs (no runny poohs that are watery) just so soft that they get flatten into the floor also lots of those ones they eat. his diet as he isnt 12weeks is just the normal pellets and tons of fresh yummy hair is there something natural i could give him to settle his tummy or medication however natural is always best

Just checking – I’m assuming you mean tons of fresh yummy HAY?

You say he’s 12 weeks old? What kind of hay and what kind of pellets are you feeding him?

Even though he’s 12 weeks, you can start moving towards reduced Timothy pellets and Timothy hay. I’m guessing your feeding alfalfa and/or alfalfa based pellets for a young bunny but it may be too rich if your seeing mushy poops. A trip to the vet for a health check is in order if his diet is Timothy based already

I agree. Alfalfa may just be too rich for him and he needs something else.

I find oaten hay really good and it seems to be most available hay here in Australia. I’m surprised you’ve been able to find Timothy hay.

One of my foster rabbits was like this then around 6-7 months old his poos got much better. He seemed to get wetter poos when I’d let him out for a run around. Sometime they do it when stressed too.

If you don’t see it correcting with diet changes, you might want a vet to check him out.
You could try him on a different brand Lucerne pellet or even start to ration them if you think they are the culprit.

Watch with veggies and treats too. Some buns are more sensitive to these.
