Peter is a year and a half, and I left some white fudge on my table, which he crawled onto. It was only a teeny bit that he ate (about the size of a goldfish?), but I’m worried. He should be fine, though, right? He’s eaten a whole roll of bread before! It happened about 20 minutes ago and he’s being his usual self. Should I be concerned?

It was white fudge? Meaning vanilla? I think he will be okay. He might be on a sugar buzz right now so just watch to make sure he’s eating/drinking/pooping.

My bunny ate a gummy worm yesterday, I have no idea where it came from, but she was super bouncy for about an hour then she had a nap.
I then grilled my housemate about leaving lollies in the couch!
Your bun should be fine, only worry if he stops eating/drinking/pooping!

Keep an eye on your bun, and make sure he eats a ton of hay. That will help get it through his system faster.

While chocolate is never good for your bunny, I checked the poisonous plant list from HRS and I did not see beans that choc. is made from on there, so I think your bunny is safe. (It did mention coffee, btw.)

I am pasting the link to that whole list here for any members who are reading this and want a copy of it:

He should be fine, just watch him closely tonight. White chocolate is pretty much all sugar. What you would REALLY need to be concerned about is dark chocolate. This is something you can always call your vet about. Toxicity calls are fielded by vet offices all the time and they will let you know if you need to come in immediately or if it’s just something to monitor.
