        Hi guys.

Wilbur has been pretty much 100% with his litter box training, during the day…but when I wake up in the morning he has done all of his soft poops right in the middle of his cage , when every single hard poop is in the litter tray.

He was neutered about two weeks ago and I haven’t noticed any toilet or behavioral changes as of yet but I’m sure he never used to do it so periodically.

I don’t mind clearing up the mess everyday but he tends to sit in it before I have the chance to clean it up when I’m asleep, which gives him a dirt bum and feet .

Just wondering if anyone can think why he might do this or if this is normal bunny behavior? Because I’m stumped.

        Thank you in advance

Is it cecals that he is leaving in the middle of the cage? It could be a health concern if Wilbur is not eating his cecals at night – has there been any change to his diet recently?

I agree with Peppy. You should never really see soft bun poops. Buns usually eat these!

Mine also only mark their cage overnight, but they are hard pellets

Oh dear..Sometimes it does look a bit diarrhea(ish) :/. Surely it must be something I’m feeding him? But he’s never eaten ALL of his cecotropes. A couple of the weeks ago I introduced parsley and kale into his diet. I’ve since stopped parsley incase it was upsetting his tummy. Should I stop the kale too?

                Thanks guys.

                  What is Wilbur’s diet?

A bowl of pellets a day, unlimited hay and a bowl of veggies, usually kale, parsley and celery…This morning there was no mess, after I’d fed him a bit less veggies and pellets..So maybe I was overfeeding?
