What specific problems have you been having finding a decent hay rack? This may help us better decide what is better for you and your buns situation! I know mine tear their hay racks off the side of the cage and scatter it everrrrrywhere and basically use it as a toy so we had to attach them to the side of the cage so they couldn’t yank them off. :X A lot of people have recommended even making your own on BB!

I dont have a cage and mine dont like their hay in the air and they wont work for it. So I made my own. I took a laundry basket and cut a hole in it, i can put a flake of hay at a time and they just pull out what they want when hungry.

I just pile the hay in their litterbox, works for them

I also just put hay in the litterbox, since that’s where she usually eats it anyways.

I found a little metal basket at Target with shallow sides. I zip tied it to Cupcake’s cage about an inch off on the floor, so she can just reach into it and pull out the hay. I had tried other things that are actually made for hay, but nothing seemed to trip her trigger. She would always poo or pee in the hay, so this works because she cant get her little booty up in it

Oh yeah, I didn’t answer the question! I do the hay in the litter box AND have two hay racks that you can get right at PetCo or PetSmart. They look like little hay mangers and we have two of them attached right on the cage over the litter box so they can do their business and chomp or they can grab it off the ground and chomp. Both seemed to work really well for me. I think there was a thread not that long ago of a lot of good ideas also.

If you google “Binky Bunny Hay Racks” I realized there’s quite a few old threads for this issue!
