Oreo is my new bunny. Just brought her to the vet 2 weeks ago for a first time examination. Everything was fine. Today I noticed a lot of eye gunk (in both eyes) and one of the eyes is very red and slightly puffy in the corner. Is it infected??  There was more gunk on the red side. There wasn’t much tears though..

        right side is reddish

        and a little puff too

I had already removed the eye gunk before the photo..

        the other side seems fine??

please help if you know what’s going on! Thanks!

It could be something as simple as an irritant in the food or habitat, but even so that could result in a secondary infection. I would make an appointment at the vet to have it looked at. If it has gone away you can always cancel the appointment. My Pepper had a mucky eye a little while ago but after it was cleaned it cleared up within a few hours and never appeared again, but as I said if you atleast have the appointment you can go straight away if it doesn’t resolve itself by the morning.
