new to the forum and bunnies, been posting all week in a couple threads. came home last night after taking the kids trick or treating and the living room where Hippy (7months old) was hanging out in the cage. Omg it STUNK! and there were a couple white smears, resembles white paint kinda. cleaned his cage and there weas another this morning on the newspaper section.??? spray?? he's never done that before, looks healthy otherwise, he's a bit depressed as he lost his sister last monday to a panic attack so we've been sucking him up lots. and i just changed him over from full alfalfa hay to timothy hay, did that gradually over a week. ->that wouldnt cause it would it? so confused...should i get him to the vet before his pre- nuture appt on the 7th? his "dots" seem normal, he's eating fine and drinking
Thanks Sarita! who knew bunny spray smelled so awful! ugh! so glad it will be gone in under a month! :p no way i can lessen the amount that he marks? or where? I dont want to have to confine him to the kitchen or cage
