So my kitten is completly obsessed with going into the room where Bud is…which I try to keep her out of there unless I can watch them cause she will try to stick her paws into his cage and since he is blind he gets frightened pretty easily…

Well so tonight I was in there cleaning Buds cage out and checking him over to make sure his behind was clean and he didn’t need a butt bath….our house is kinda old so all the floors are uneven and creak….so the kitten has been able to squeeze herself under the door…Well tonight she tried to claw her way under the door….and she got stuck halfway through… so you see this little kitty head on one side of the door and back legs and tail on the other side. It was so bad that when I opened the door a little bit she went with the door!!! If I wasn’t so worried I probably would have laughed..I had to actually open the door a bit further and pull her the from the middle of the door towards the doorknob and out…

A couple years ago, we found a stray kitten that we fostered until we found it a forever home and she crawled in to the open oven (which was on) and she’d get stuck under and in all kinds of things….She also got stuck in the fridge overnight one time too….

I guess curiosity can kill the cat…

            Oh dear….it’s funny…but it’s not…poor kitty 0_o Have to admit I giggled a bit though. Lol…
I love the post title though. I have had quite a few cats in my life from that address…and more than a few dogs. :-/

Have you posted pix of this wee munchkin? Would love to see (preferably without the a-DOOR-nment. xD

              LMAO adoornment….That is great.

No i haven’t mostly because she is a spaz and rarely sits still. But I’ll see if I can get her to sit for a few minutes…lol

Mimzmum.. it’s one of those funny but sad stories. Apparently she got stuck under the door when I was at work and hubby was home with the chil’ren.

Well, I guess that’s why they need 9 lives

Hazel — HAHAHAHAHAHA. I swear, they really do have 9 lives. My cats should’ve died a good 7 or 8 times.

I hear ya. Hubby and I keep saying that ours is sort of suicidal, she runs into stuff, hangs upside down off her cat tree (lots of faceplants), and she constantly tries to eat random things. It’s like having a monkey in the house.

LOL oh boy. I hear ya Hazel on the monkey thing…

I’m actually very proud of her today because she did her duty as a cat and actually caught a mouse….and very efficiently, I might add.

Was kinda gross to clean up though…

LOL! That is so funny (and not at the same time)!

We have 1 or 2 cats who fit into this category. :p One of our cats has to be on his last life from being kicked in the head by a horse, having lymes, getting a cracked scull, having URI and bladder crystals, etc: We think he has some brain damage to all the head damage he has had. haha! He is a lot of fun though! He plays with you like a dog would!

Scratch that…She got two mice. One I found smushed under the carpet. Reminds me of Bullrider’s Blue and the binky-ed to death…although one of us probably stepped on it. YUCK!

It would be hard for him not to have some brain damage at this point, Mocha. Holy cow. Atleast she is being loved through all this… With the hurricane (we got a good bit of rain and it was really windy) I feel bad for the feral strays outside…

Actually, our kitten is the one that when she was trapped she ran out cause the door didn’t close all the way and then she squeezed back under to get the rest of the bacon and was actually trapped that time…So we knew she probably was not going to be a genius or anything…lol

But then again…I have done some stupid things for some bacon…lol

Aww, good job kitty!! At least she’s channeling her energy into something productive. And she’s still a kitten, so she’s got that excuse. Mine is 2 and a half years old and still acts like a wild animal…

Did you manage to catch a picture of her yet?

Kitty may need to wear a cone everyday just to keep her head out from under doors. :-/
Poor thing. But isn’t it always the clueless ones we feel for the most?
How old is she? Eventually she’ll get big enough her head won’t fit under there…I hope! 0_o

Ugh…our semi feral kitty catches voles here and practically swallows them whole (thinks she’s an owl I guess) and then chucks it up within half an hour. :p There isn’t an “ew” loud enough! 😡

Crap, I totally forgot about the picture. Sorry I’ve been working more than usual…I’m getting certified to be a med passer at work so I’m not home much lately. So glad I got a great babysitter.

She is used to being able to fit under there but she is getting to the point where she is just a little too big…but she still thinks she can. I don’t remember how old she is…I have a hard time keeping track. I’m dumb that way.

mimzmum….I’m pretty sure I heard that ew…. Our kitty won’t really eat them she just played with them…although I don’t really give her the chance.

Someone at work told me that cats can get “tape worms” from eating mice…I’m sure they could get sick…or an upset stomach…but worms?

Wild animals always have all kinds of internal parasites, so it would be easy for her to catch something, worms I’m not sure about.

Only just reading this thread now but that’s a cute mental image. Her sliding with the door too. Lol

Would be even funnnier if she got stuck under the door with a cone round her head too. Haha! Those things are flexible…it’s possible.

Glad she’s been able to get out of these scraps unharmed.
