What in the world? Why would a vet say that? Do you know the South Seattle Emergency Vet? Also North Seattle Vet Clinic. here is a list: http://www.rabbitmeadows.org/shelter/vets.asp Please get her in ASAP. What a horrible vet to wait an hour! WTF |

so we just got back from the vet, he suggested that i take the day off from work and watch her all day which i will be doing, we picked up some parsley on the way home which she is happily munching right now which is a good sign, the vet said she might have just strained too hard when she was pooping so good vibes towards my baby, i will keep everyone updated throughout the day |

Well, I really cannot see any blood on her fur. Did the vet examine her? Are you certain it's blood and not urine? |

Is it possible she got a bit over zealous during a cecal snack and grazed her bottom ? |

Rabbits often have 'red urine' but rarely is it blood... it is usually a porphyrin dye that ends up in the urine, often at times of emotional or physical stress (though sometimes for not obvious reason)... this urine is not a true red, eihter.... sort of a bright orange-red. Supposedly it will glow with a black light... so if you have one, you might check it out... if it glows or fits the description of this red urine, it is usually considered 'normal'... so don't panic. |

I can totally relate to the mirroring emotions thing. Thump wont come near me if I'm frustrated. I'm often left wondering how he knows. I hope she is doing better now. |
