Hi, today Penny jumped off her cat condo and broke a nail. It's like about 2cm from the very skin base. I've stopped the bleeding and I'm cleaning her cage. Should I take her to the vet tomorrow? Or will this be good enough to help her? And please give any information that you might want me to know or I should know when dealing with a nail broken this close. Thanks.

Am I understanding it correctly though that there is still a bit of nail? A broken nail usually doesn't warrant a vet visit. (unless she's limping and there seems to be some other injury, like a hurt foot.). You did the right thing - you stopped the bleeding, and cleaned, so now just keep an eye on it and make sure it's healing/growing and not getting infected.
