Hi. I just joined this forum today and i have six dutch mix rabbits. I have thumper and oreo who are a mated pair and have four, week and half old kits. Extremely cute. But don't worry thumper is now fixed so no more surprises . I hope to make some rabbit friends on here so i can talk about my babies

Im glad to read Thumper has been desexed. Was this recent? Were you instructed to keep Thumper and Oreo apart for at least 4 weeks after the operation?
Rabbits can still impregnate after desexing for a period of time. I just read in another thread this happened to a member and it was about 6 weeks after the buck was fixed.

Thanks everyone and yes oreo and thumper have been seperated since the babies were born and will continue to be until they are grown up. I'm gladly pot some pictures once i can figure out how to get them from my phone to computer lol

You are allowed to purchase a baby rabbit at 8 weeks old at the earliest so I would say that age

! Not certain though so don't hold me to it.

Lol alright I'll wait but it'll definably gonna take some will power. They are the pride and joys of the family right now. lol I gush at oreo for hours telling her how proud I am of her and how good of a mommy she is. She just looks at me like you gonna give me a treat?
