Now that the buns are in the second bedroom adjacent to mine there are certain sounds I expect to wake up to. Shuffling and snuffling through last nights hay for an early breakfast, a bit of running up and down the ramp, jostling as Pipi and Pepper try to sleep in whilst Piglet and Blossom move about, Nermal tapping on her cage door. General harmless noise.

This morning there seemed more activity and I thought one of the cats must be in the play area messing with the bunny toys so I went in to check. There is Piglet and Blossom stampeding around the play area having a wonderful time, the wire ramp is down, the timber ramp pushed to one side and knocked over and two very happy bunnies.

I am pretty sure Piglet was the culprit judging by the rapid fire binkies on discovery, he was very pleased with himself. Blossom looked guilty for about 30 seconds then proceeded to do zoomie laps of the pen.

Let them have a play and now they are back in for breakfast as I have to go out. Naughty little blighters !

Those "Nah-Nah!" Binkies always make me laugh. Bunnies are so devious!

Maybe you'll wake one morning to find Pipi and Nermal snuggling!!
Whoever says "It's only a rabbit" has obviously never loved a rabbit.

Hi JG, Definitely a Nah-Nah Binky, but its the head shake with ear wobble that proceeded it that always cracks me up.

I wish Pipi and Nermal would get over it but until everyone is spayed thats not going to happen and it's taking forever to get the money together. The one good thing is that Pepper, as Mummy and Alpha bun, intercedes if they get too rowdy and breaks it up. Pepper then sits there and guards the boundary until Pipi looses interest then she sits and has some nose to nose time with Nomnoms through the Xpen, Bloss and Piglet usually come over then and talk to Nermie through the wire aswell.

Plus I don't think Pipi has forgotten or forgiven the incident when Nermie Nomnoms sat with her butt to the bars until Pipi got in range and then pee'd on her head. (Even though it was a pre emptive strike) I was a basket case for several minutes till I realised it was Craisin tinted pee not blood.
