I am using Tofu's old cage for Finn, which is a vast improvement on what he was living in, but still a tad small. Is it ok to keep it as his cage since I have an x-pen permanently attached to widen his playing area until he is litter trained and can be released into the house? He seems to like the cage and often hides in the cubby hole when he's feeling shy. I don't see the point in buying a larger cage/making a cube cage when he is going to be a house rabbit?
Here's what the set up looks like. Old picture with Tofu
