Maybe we can do a fan favorite vote too, where we all vote on our favorite? Or is that too complicated? We'd have to vote by sending a message to one person (the score keeper?) by a certain date?

Could we have a thread for the entered photos only and a separate one linked for comments where we can ooh and ahh?
Maybe both pinned for duration of competition?

OR could entries be moved to top of thread and community comments follow in same thread?

Blue had BETTER cooperate -- although, Idk if I can be an honest judge with BLUEEEE in the competition! Hahaha, just kidding... but for real, Blue had better cooperate.

I'm not sure if any of my brats will cooperate but I'm going to think of SOMETHING. I'm horrible at photo shopping so I'll have to find SOMETHING creative for my buns. Even if I do get them in some sort of decoration I highly doubt they'd sit long enough for me to take a picture.... I just might have to work on my photo shop skills all this month!

And... I'm horribly NOT creative so I have no ideas or even directions yet... Crap! <-- This is the reason why I'm being judge.

JG, we think alike. I suggested to LPT already that the posts be a separate post for entries, and it link back here for comments about them. Or something like that. Basically, to keep the pix together for the judges and not just start it on page 5 of this thread, where we will be soon judging from the enthusiastic response.

So much fun! So far, mimzy has been great at letting me put things on her xD hope I can find a cute little outfit, so excited!!

Here's an excellent example of the 1st category.

It is a bunny (Bindi Loo) in costume, with a suitable prop and a studio-style backdrop.

I know it's the wrong holiday, but I think this look of Disapproval is suitably scary for Halloween. 

I also have an example of the Photoshop Category. Should I load it up here, or save it for the Contest?

Because looking at the rules, you could enter all your lot, it's 1 entry per bun. Not sure they'd all tolerate costumes though?

Yeah, they might be a bit stressed. Maybe just something basic like a witches hat and a backdrop? I don't know, but the editing is an option!

I'm so excited! I can't wait until everyone starts posting their entries! I would love to try with my Luna but she's still young and I'm still working on making her comfortable in my home. Wouldn't want to undo the progress so far just for my amusement... I might try the Photoshop option though. Anyways, good luck everyone!

Just a note, though, for the Real Costume Category, you don't need a full outfit, even just a little hat propped on bunnie's head can be considered a costume.

Just a reminder to keep safety in mind. If you don't think your bun will tolerate something, it's not worth risking it. Holidays should be fun for bunnies too.

I'm going to start a new Lounge Thread called "HALLOWEEN COSTUME ENTRIES". This is where all entries must be posted. Please do not comment in that thread. It's for entries only.

Take all your "Squees' and "OMG that's adorable's" and post them back in this thread.  This is just to keep things easier for the Judges to vote on the photos.

FOR JUDGES:

Just so everyone is clear. On Saturday, October 27, the Judges will look at all the photos and give them a score from 1 to 5 Binkies. 5 being the highest vote. Voting is the same for both Costume and Photoshop Categories. Take into consideration the effort, originality and photo quality in your decision. Then send a PM to Peppy Poo, the Score Keeper, with each bunnie's score. (keep your votes confidential). She will then tally them all up and figure out a winner.

If any of the Judges have questions, they can PM me.

Squeeeee Bullrider! Blue is posing perfectly to be on that broomstick, and Baby the fairy in the pumpkin patch is adorable! But Raven/Cinnamon (Sorry, not sure which?) is the best! It looks fab! Well done!

Oh wait! The final entries must be made on Friday the 26th so we don't judge and then get late entries?
