Finn would rather use the litter box as a bed than as a litter box. Even though I clean up accidents right away he still prefers to do his business around the box instead of in it. Sigh.

Also, a friend of mine is watching Finn for me in a couple of weeks when I go out of town. As a thank you I made her hedgehog a vampire cape (hedgies have such cute little vampire teeth!) here's my hedgehog, max, modeling it. She wasn't too pleased

Thanks Kyrre!
Sorry for the late reply, haven't been on BB much the last couple of days.
Ugh I wish there were petstores like that around here (Kristiansand), I haven't found one that carries quality hay around here yet.
But, I did get a hold of a type of hay that is a little more green than the hay we used to get, but it's very soft. However, they have added bits of dandelions in the hay, and this is making Bosse eat more hay! so there's progress

OMG, such cuteness! There are so many pics being posted I find it hard to keep up with this thread.

SamandLady- Love the video. Your buns are adorable.

Tanlover- Your buns are brats. And adorable. And I love them!

Jersey- We don't see pics of yours enough. Love the Jersey flop and Rumball is such a cutie. Love the wilds and baby goat too.

Thumper is beautiful.

Dracula Hedgehog made my day.

To anyone else that I didn't comment on your pictures, they all made me smile with adorableness, it's just hard to remember everybun when I get past all the new pics to comment. Keep em coming.

Robyn, Max is an african pygmy hedgehog, not the european hedgehogs you guys have over there. In the US we don't have any wild hedgies, just the domesticated breeds. People always ask me if she's a porcupine, lemur (???), or a tiny puppy

Lol! Lemur? Puppy? Annie the goat has been mistaken for a puppy but I really don't see how a hedgie could be. Silly people.
I think they are the cutest things! The cape wearing ones even cuter!

Sam and Lady's Human -- I PROMISE I'LL TRY AND GET A VIDEO THIS WEEK!  It's sooo hard.  As soon as the camera comes out, it's like they know!!  And just stare at me with looks like "you're not getting any incriminating evidence against me!"  LOLOL.  I SWEAR, they know!

CK -- THAT BUN BUM!!!  What a cutie!!!

DaisyBinks -- REALLY??!?!  I can't believe that!!  My buns are all a little over 4 pounds but goodness, I swear they look like total little pipsqueeks!  She looks soo big!   We had a Lionhead for a while though who was 4 pounds and I swear he was HUGEEEE so maybe it's just the breed/all that hair!?

Hazelbun -- WHAT A GORGEOUS GIRL!

Jerseygirl -- LMAO, that flop!  What a goof.  You should totally send that first pic of Rumball to Disapproving Rabbits!  That was MEGA-Disapproval!   And those wild buns, my boyfriend and I just spent like 10 minutes ooh-ing and ahh-ing over them... Such little adorable babies!  Very interesting photos!

Zoologist -- Lmao!  Finn is adorable!

BLUEEEEEEE!!! <3 <3 <3

SOOOO... the newest Tan trouble-maker...  We recently decided to put their hay holders back in the cage and not just in the litter boxes since we've been going through so much hay since we reduced their pellets....  So rather than putting it in the bottom of the litter boxes we had a NEW set-up with the hay holders hanging INTO the litter box... so they could still munch and poo....

Anyways... I think someone is angry that she can't sit on the hay anymore... sooo took matters into her own hands...

zoologist, that hedgehog is insanely cute!! Is it hard keeping them as a pet? Can't be harder than rabbits right? Finn is adorable too! I'm glad you saved him from that pet store.

Ahh, Blue! He's so great, I just wanna snuggle him! Does he like to cuddle?

tanlover, that's super funny! Looks like she's about to leave a surprise in the pellet dish while she's at it...

it depends on his mood if he wants to cuddle or not. sometimes he like the attention, others he just wants to be left alone lol. one thing he doesnt like is being picked up lol!!

Hazel, I like to think of them as glorified hamsters . They run on a wheel every night, you clean their cage once a week- super easy! The only thing tricky is their diet. It's hard to give them everything they need since they're insectivores and you can't really get a variety of insects at petstores, lol. I feed Max a trio of high quality cat food and she gets meal worms as treats. She also has a facebook fan page (she's gained a following from derby events and summer camp!) facebook.com/maxthehedgepig

but back to rabbits!

I would love to see more pictures of Blue (who wouldn't?) I think a friend of mine might have a flemmy mix. He's a big boy, 11lbs and only 6 months old! Only thing is that he has lop ears. She doesn't know what he is, but he's a BIG cutie.

Tanlover I'm jealous of all of your tans! As soon as I saw your bunnies I thought they were gorgeous and would love to have one of my own. Now that I see what PITAs they are I'm content to have a laid back bunny of questionable breed and live vicariously through you

Like I said in the October chat, today we carved pumpkins. And Finn helped.... sorta.

Your activities do not interest me.

*yawn* You bore me.

I can help?
Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Like I said in the chat, he waited until I was elbow deep in pumpkin guts to show any interest in eating the pumpkin so I don't have any cute pictures of that

Bonding hasn't gone terribly well with Finn. He's still really standoffish. If I get into his pen he usually hops back into his cage so he can avoid me. It was nice that he chose to stay out on the porch with us today, even if he didn't get too close.

Hazel -- being a bunny momma for 5 months now... I've gotten used to those little surprises.... Everrrrrywhere! *facepalm* You'd probably find this funny! For my boyfriends birthday I made him a dinner with dessert and the dessert was chocolate covered strawberries (which are one of his favssss) and so before I brought those out I brought out the dessert the buns "made" for him! It was a chocolate-covered craisin! Bahahahaha. They LOVE craisins and of course, the chocolate made it look like a bunny poo! DDD He thought it was hystericallllllll!!

Ugh, Zoologist -- I freakin' LOVE Blue. Every time BullRider posts and I see it in the forum log thinger I squeal with happiness hoping it's Blue! I feel like if I had a Flemmie he would HATE me. I wouldn't be able to ever leave him alone! It would be SOOO nice to have a bun that isn't mentally insane though! I would LOVE to see how my little brats would react to a bun 4x their size! And LMAO about your comment on the Tans... HHAHAHA. I can't help but think about when we were searching for a little bun and we were up against a mini-Rex and a Tan... we actually ended up choosing the Tan because he was GORGEOUS and we really wanted a playful, energetic bun! ... The breeder told us Tans are notorious for being energetic and a lot of people don't like the breed because of just how energetic and active they are. Well, we definitely got what we were looking for... Crazy, energetic buns. But they are perfect! They keep us on our toes for sure and I'm REALLY curious to see how they act as they age -- if they stay this way (like the breeder said hers always have) or if they mellow out like most other buns. We saw the mother when we went to pick up our little guy and she was CRAZY energetic with her babies. Hopping around all over everrrrything! And jumping everywhere... sooooo I may have crazy little "teens" forever (except I won't be able to blame it on their teenage months much longer..!!)

I really wanted a hedgehog until I just heard what they eat... Grosssssss. Why can't they just eat veggies?? Then I'd want one sooo bad. My crazy rabid rabbits would probably use him as a play toy if I ever got one though... Bratscals.

The one of him eating the pumpkin.... ADORBS! ;*

Oh my gosh Blue!!!  I love Blue pictures. =]

Zoologist I love your hedge.  If hadn't gotten a bun my bf would have wanted one.  I am quite happy with our silly Skipper though. =p  I have to agree with TL I love the picture of Finn taking a bite of the pumpkin. =p

TL the picture of your little girl sitting on the hay rack made me laugh out loud!  It's so funny!  I love your little boy's face that is right next to her.  He's not even phased by it.

So I found my camera. =p  I swear I keep losing it.  I need to get an alarm for it so when I want to find it it'll go off and tell me where it is.

What?  I didn't pee on the cats because they made me mad.  Promise.  (Oh if only that were true.)

Do I smell a treat that you hid up there?  No?  Just regular old cardboard?

That's okay I like munching on some cardboard.  (I just love how big her little feet look in the picture.)

Please refrain from taking a picture of me on the other side, this happens to be my good one.

Do I get head licks?

I'm not coming out until you put that thing away.

*Munch Munch*  Hey Ma this book taste good!  (-.-  Skipper excuse me but that book is not meant for eating.)

Hahaha TL! Thank god it's just not me! I bought a new copy of Wuthering Heights, since my last one I gave to my mom, on Friday. About a couple of hours of having it Skipper decides to take a healthy chomp out of a few pages. xD

Blue ears! How long are they, 6 inches?!

Skipper is adorbs. I LOVE her coloring!

Finn with the pumpkin sooo cute! I think he'll come around. Just keep treating him nice

And TL, that sitting on the hay rack thing reminds me of when Bunjamin was a baby. And I mean 9 weeks old baby. He had a hay rack in his cage that came with it. He found every use for it besides hay. Litter box, It was like 5x3x2 and he sat in it! Toy, it got flung around. Eventually I gave up and I haven't bought a hay rack since. I use willow baskets and cardboard boxes and of course his litter box is a must for him

FF -- HAHAHAH. Yeah, we actually had to secure both of the hay racks to the side of the cage with carabeeners because the two boys kept throwing them around and tossing them on the floor. (They throw everything they can get their little mouths on!) Shockingly, this is the first time I have ever seen her do that! She's so goofy!

And seriously, Blue's ears are HUGE! <3

Yuki Chan is soooooo ADORABLE! What a tiny little beautiful girl! And her coloring is gorgeous!
