SS- lol Hodari is so cute posing for all those photos. Was your mom wrapped around her little paw by the time she left?

Thanks. Hodari is used to me chasing her around with the camera, but she only let me put the hat and scarf on her because she was sleepy. The hat is really a headband, so it kind of wrapped around her and hugged her, which annoyed her greatly when she was trying to run away; the hat hung on to her back and wouldn't let her go! My mom was definitely wrapped around her little paws. In fact, she kept gushing about how tiny Hodari's little paws are! Ha, ha. And, omg, every time Hodari yawned, my mom laughed and clapped and said it was the cutest thing ever.

Legend, Beautiful little bun! Great pics, too.

And Chacha is ALWAYS fabulous. Why isn't she in the Halloween contest????

Me and my BF got two guinea pigs today! We are going to keep one for ourselves, and then we are going to give one to my sister as a surprise birsday gift. My parents loved the idea and are fully prepared.

Here are some pics I took before I separated them (as they are girl and boy). The separation destroyed all progress I think haha. They are now sulking in their hut on each their side of the cage. Poor babys, they got so scared.

Hazel - Well my BF wants us to keep the boy (the black one), because it is black and looks cool, lol. I think the girl has more spunk! She is one more gutsy one. So we'll have to see which one we connect the most with Although I know my sister will want to have the girl.. lol

Everyone is so cute!

I call this photo 'Harry Flopper and the Empty Soy Yoghurt Pot'

Little rascal dug it out of the bin and then stuffed his whole face in it. Luckily there was only a scraping left on the sides, but I have to be more careful about what I put in the bin!

He definitely needs a wifeybun to clean him up after naughty episodes like this.

Half of a Monkey would add up to about the size of Chipmunk's ear

He has a special place on the mantel now, and that's where he stays until we get our own house and a garden. He found his forever home after all.

I love what you have done for simon. I have a little box with something special in it for each pet i've lost (which is alot because I used to do hospice work when I was younger) and They always help me to mourn and allow me to feel the emotions that I need to. But I only do that because I prefer to bury my pets. If I cremated them then I think I would do it the same way you have. I respect that alot.

Bulllriderrrr -- LMAO. Chipmunk is soooooooo much like my brats! Imagine how much trouble they could all get into if they were together??!?! Actually... I don't want to imagine that. It will probably give me a migraine. I didn't realize he was that BIG or the white on his belly! He looks exacccctly like my Tans except his coloring is ALL sorts of the wrong colors! Hahahah. But his ears and the white is exactly where all their Tan color is and his darker color is where the Black/Chocolate/Lilac/Blue is. If he's not part Tan, then he definitely saw a Tan and decided that's what he wanted to be.

MB -- that is absolutely beautiful and heart felt! I'm so happy Simon really did find his forever home, in your home AND your hearts. <3 Squirrel is a total grump in that picture, it needs to go to Disapproving Rabbits!

Phoebe, LOVE the ears!!!

Radhika and Bullrider, thanks
Radhika: we can have more than one, but when I was looking for guinea pigs, I was just looking for one for my parents to give to my little sister, but when I saw them I just thaught that "hey, we should keep the other one". They were just so cute. We were planning on keeping the boy, but seing that my parents are very strict on just having one, and we might want more eventually, we are thinking of keeping the girl, as girls get along better. And I read somewhere that boys do better alone than girls.

They are still just hiding in their huts. But I know they take a lot of time to get used to their new surroundings I'm not too worried. They are eating and pooping well. But I still haven't seen them drink any water And I haven't been able to see if the water level is loweing in their bowls seing that I change the water every day. I'm thinking I might not change it for about two days, just to see if they are actually drinking.. Getting slightly worried.

Bosse is doing great since his vet visit btw! The vet didn't find anything in particular for the bald spot/itching, but she saw a couple of suspicious spots under the florecent lighting that could be either paracites or ringworm. So Bosse has gotten a drop-treatment. Sort of like revolution I think, just a bit stronger (dw, not frontline!). He got some drops in his neck at the vets, and I'm doing it again at home in a week.

He is considered contagious until we get the fur-samples back from the lab. She didn't want to do a skin biopsy as she would have to put him under anesthesia, and she only wants to do it if the samples come back inconclusive. She said "I don't feel comfortable putting rabbits under anesthesia. Especially not your rabbits.." I think it hit her hard that Mathias died.
Sry for rambling, I sould probably have posted this in the chat, but I just felt like putting it here
