Would romaine lettuce be good to start out with? Also how much should I try them on? I have some of the big heart of romaine leaves but was worried that might be a little too much for the beginning.

Romaine is absolutely great to start out with! Try one leaf or less and monitor your bunny’s droppings. Some bunnies have sensitive stomachs. Start with one type of veggie a week

Here is a list of suggested vegetables for your bunny from the House Rabbit Society

The first veggies Tofu started out with were basil and mint….. because that’s what the little stinker ate from my herb garden the first night we had him

I started Frankie out with bits of parsley and cilantro because that’s what I had in my fridge. Basically I think it’s okay to start them off with any of the veggies on the list that LoveChaCha posted, but just go slow and feed in very small quantities.
