I'm re-building Mimzy's condo since the one she's in right now doesn't seem sufficient enough. I'm doing a different layout though but I'm having trouble with the ramp. I have a 3x2 NIC condo and I would like ramps but I don't know how long to make the ramps...how steep is too steep?
I'm thinking a ramp around 23" or so would work well if I put her second level right where the first 2 NIC grids meet. But then I feel like it's not tall enough? (if it's tall enough, please say so!) Otherwise, I was wanting the second level to be just a little higher than where the 2 grids meet, and this is where I'm stuck. The higher I make it, the longer her ramp will have to be. If anyone can just post some pics of their bunny's ramps and dimensions of it, it would be appreciated!!
Also, how wide should the ramp be? Thanks!
See how I put a shelf where the two grids meet? Is that what you meant by putting the shelf where the grids meet? It should work and do well. And if you can't tell there is about a 12 inch gap for a landing and the size of the hole is about a foot around. We did our ramp pretty long. Skipper seems to do fine with it.
