Okies, here goes. The bunnies are being on the verge on being kicked out of our living room; complaints are that the cage is too big, hard to clean, and is obnoxious to have around guests. -sigh- Couresty of my mom. Their current situation she has a problem with is a total of 4 grids high, 3.75 grids long, and 3 grids wide. Each grids measures 14 inches. I can try to defend their current living situation further, but I need a backup plan. If that failed, they would go live in my bathroom we no longer use. The cage would be four grids long, but I need to fit both bunnies with their separate stacked cages while being able to reach into the top cage to comfortably clean it out. Any ideas? The bathtub is already a foot or so elevated, so it would be taller than me if we kept the same height. :S

Have you thought of making the door bigger to clean the cage? And a hand vacuum or a small WetVac for vaccuming the rabbit cages? As for height issues a stool helps. I guess I’m just honestly confused as to how the cage is hard to clean. I’m 5ft tall and have a cage that is reaching almost 6ft high and I clean it every day without issue. I would see if you can keep the cage in an area where they can be around people. I remember reading that buns like to be in areas of high traffic so that they can be ‘social’. =]
