Amy, cute purse! That's a great idea I agree with lining it with something if you want extra strength. That pic with the bunny getting groceries is adorable xD I want to get a mini shopping cart now lol. Well mimzy has her first vet checkup on Monday. I already have her spay appt set too later in the month. If something doesn't go right or I don't like the vet, I'm canceling her spat. But I really hope it works out because they have good prices! I called a ton of places & all of them were kind of expensive for me. She hasn't been using her litter box anymore either hormones I guess. & I noticed yesterday morning I filled up her bowl & by night time, she still had barely made a dent in it D: so I gave her some lettuce, she ate it & was acting normal. I think she's just bored of her pellets. |

Hey Everyone and Happy September!!!
I feel like I haven't been on here in ages! And really its only been a week or two. hehe I missed bunny chatting with everyone sooo much!!! I've been in a major depression and kinda checked out from everything. Except my buns of course! hehe I"m trying to pick myself back up though. *sigh*
LongHairedMike-OMG OMG OMG!! !I ADORE that commercial! How did you FIND that? I don't remember it at all but its sooo cute!!! I want a whole MOVIE like that! haha My mom works at a library and she found a bunny movie so she brought it home to surprise me., I think Toby and I are gonna cuddle up with it tonight and give Lie To Me a break! hehe
Michelle- hahaha Your comment cracked me up! I often block out my age too! Last time I was at the doctors he asked me how old I was and I said 22, no wait 24 oh wait, no 26! He was like, are you SURE? I had to count bahaha He probably thought I was a total idiot! I prefer to stay at "22" haha My Beatrix died almost 2 months ago. It's STILL super hard. I cried like a baby at 2 this morning because I missed her so much.l I'm glad to know i'm not the only one who does it still
Bumble Fly-hmmm TOTALLY gonna have to check out Disapproving Rabbits! I could use a good daily dose of it to perk me up! hehe
LittlePuffyTail= GREAT picture!!! hehe I haven't seen the Bunny Olympics. Are the photos here on Binky Bunny? That's hillarious! I'd love to see what people submitted!
Skipper'sMama- I LOVE the BBC Sherlock! It's the BEST in my opinion and I've seen every show and movie! I was a fan of Season 1 when it came out and was nervous that Season 2 woiuldn't live up to it, but it surpassed it by far! It gets better and better every time!
Mimzy- I adore that shirt!!! I haven't seen it at any of the Wal-Mart's around here. BOO!!! I'll have to see if maybe they have it online. It is way too cute!!
PeppyPoo-AHH!!! That is sooo priceless! And TOTALLY what a bunny would fill his basket with at the grocery store. hehe
I'm so glad I got on here tonight. It really cheered me up a lot and i missed everyone! Today Toby was cuddling on the couch with me and left me a present. And when I went to pick it up there were worms all over it. AHH!!! I totally freaked! I called the vet after hours and he is going in for his first appointment tomorrow. *sigh* I hope all goes well!
I think all the excitment and worrying wore me out! haha I am totally exhausted and am going to bed at 9:30 like the old lady that I am! haha Good night all and I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Good Morning and Happy Saturday everyone!
I am anxious to get Toby into the vet. One more hour to go. WHEW! I will be able to calm down then. On a side note, our air conditioning broke half way through the night. *face palm* I woke up at 9 am and it was already 84 degrees in the house. And we've been calling and can't get ahold of our AC guy. AHH!!! I am an already freaked out momma, and I have Bertie who just got neutered, Toby with worms, and Gus who is a wooly. Doing my best to keep them cool with ice packs but I'm going to try to drop them off at the library so they can get in the AC. When it rains it pours right? lol
Mimzy- Thank you! And you are sooo right! I LOVE the monthly picture thread. Sooo cute and a definite pick me up! hehe
Skipper- Me tooo!!! I watch Masterpiece theatre faithfully every Sunday night and usually watch it reair on Monday. haha Our faves are Poirot, Miss Marple, Inspector Lewis, Xen, Downton Abbey, and Sherlock.,
Well I am off to take a cold shower and try to keep these boys as cool as I can! I'll check in after I get Toby back from his vet appointment!

That's too bad about your AC, Cristina! I feel for you, two years ago ours broke during the summer (we live in the south!) and because of a million hoops we had to jump through with our home warranty it took about 6 weeks before it was fixed. We ended up buying a small portable AC/Heating unit at Home Depot. It was only strong enough to cool our bedroom though, so we had to basically live in there the entire time, with all our pets... It was pretty miserable.
I hope Toby gets better soon! |

Yeah I love that purse! I can use it for just about anything! =) OMG! I am in sooooo much pain! I haven't been posting too much because I just haven't been feeling up to it. I went to the dentist yesterday and they took x-rays...My bottom wisdom teeth have grown in sideways and partially under the gum. My right side has been hurting like realllllyyyy bad for the past week or so. I can't even sleep because it hurts so bad. The dentist said food is catching in there and it's probably getting infected and what not. =( Soooo he gave me antibiotics and motrin. I have to take those 3 times a day for 7 days. On top of it, I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled and I don't have insurance so it will cost an arm and a leg! =( They said I need all four pulled but I am only getting my bottom two pulled. I don't know when this is going to happen. All I know is I am in pain and can hardly eat and when I yawn it's the worst pain EVER! So I have been washing my mouth with mouth wash after everything I eat and hopefully the infection will go away. It sucks! I have never had to have antibiotics before (well maybe when I was reeeally young and don't remember) and I definitely have never had to be put under anesthesia. That's scary to me because my dad, sister, and brother have all woken up during procedures with anesthesia. =O I hope I am able to knock out and stay out during the procedure and hopefully I wake back up!!! ahhhh |

@Amy's Animals - YIKES!! I'm thankful that my wisdom teeth didn't have to come out.... I remember staying doped up on Tylenol. You might want to try you some Tylenol PM to get you through until your surgery. Praying that all goes well for you with anesthesia! Keep us updated!
@Cristina- Poor Toby! I'm hoping it's easy to get rid of! I also hope your a/c gets fixed soon. That sounds SO stressful.
Ever since seeing that t-shirt I've become obsessed with looking for shirts with Rabbits on them! Here's a couple I've found:

< For my lop lover friends!
Speaking of rabbit addiction, I had to create a new board dedicated to Bunnies on my pinterest. I feel like I'm going to end up being one of those crazy cat ladies except with bunnies.
I've been thinking about deleting my account and creating one with a new name, has that been done around here before?
Also, who else finds it amusing that it's the year of the Rabbit?!
Ollie has a new addiction of trying to drink my green tea.. Funny bunny. I have his neuter operation scheduled for the 17th of this month... Kinda anxious. I know I've only had him for a little over 3 months but I'm going to be so devastated if anything happens to him. Trying to stay positive. One thing that I hate about depression is I can never be happy in the now, it's like I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
On a more positive note, I'm totally buying this ring :

Well Toby had pinworms, which is a pretty easy fix thankfully. The vet said in addition to the worms in the ONE piece of poop I brought in there were over 1000 eggs.YUCK!! My poor Toby! No wonder the poor guy has been so grumpy lately!
Hazel- I am from the south too! I live on the coast in Texas so I can TOTALLY sympathize with you. That is terrible that you had no AC for 6 weeks! I would've died. Ya'll were smart to get a window unit though! I was just about ready to go buy one today myself. haha
AmysAnimals- I was terrified of getting my wisdom teeth pulled out too. I had never had anesthesia and my sister had a horrible reaction to it at the hospital and nearly died. I however, had no issues and my oral surgery went swimmingly! ANd I am sure yours will too! My wisdom teeth were SO impacted that they were cracking in half and falling out!!! There was absolutely no room, so they were twisted the total opposite way and then eventually cracking and breaking off, in an effort to make room in my jaw because they did not fit. I was in tremendous pain, and they had me on hydrocodone. I was soooo terrified of the surgery but it was amazing!!! The pain of having it done that people complain about, was NOTHING like the pain of leaving those babies in! haha I had no problems at all with mine! On the way home, my Mom was rushing me back to the house as fast as she could. When I got in the car she asked me how I was and I said hungry, can you pull over at Chikfila? lol The next day I was munching on steak and people thought I had my surgery 2 weeks ago. lol You'll be a little sore the day after, mostly just your jaw from being open. I only used my pain meds once, and that was it!
BumbleFly-AhH!!! I've been obsessed with that T shirt toooo! haha I still need to go stalk my Wal-Mart for it! I am so freaking obsessed with that second shirt you posted that has the big bow. OMG!!! I want it like yesterday! The yellow one is cute too, and I NEED the lop tee. haha ADORABLE!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who spends hours on the net looking for bunny things for my buns AND me! Have you looked around on etsy? Oh my word! I found so much awesome bunny jewelry, house decorations, bunny clothes ( for the buns!!) and bunny beds, etc on there. I am constantly on there looking at it all! haha I also suffer from depression and it was BAD after my first bun died 3 months ago. My depression meds had to be doubled. I'm still struggling but I just try to keep myself busy with hobbies and such. And you always have us! =) I just had my Bertie fixed on Thursday. I was freaked out but, again, I had nothing to worry about. And I'm sure you won't either!
Okay so on the topic of us bunny slaves wanting bunny items for US I added a few additions to my collection this week! hehe For starters, I work at Kohl's and I was at work and saw these adorable bunny slippers that I just HAD to have for winter!

Even the lining of them is freaking ADORABLE!!!
Okay I am a huge nail polish fan and I LOVE doing all kinds of stuff to my nails. Last year I got into Franken polish. Which is a term used for home made nail polish. (Think frankenstein creating something in his lab but way less scarey!) The awesome thing about franken polishes are the brands love polish as much as I do and they create some AMAZING polish. Plus I love supporting the little indie companies that make nail polish from their home. I recently found out about a brand called HARE Polish that is made by a bunny lover and bunny Mom! I fell in love with the cute bunnies on the bottles! Here is a link to their Facebook page where you can find swatches and pics of their polishes and info on how to order HARE Polish facebook page!

I got my first ever HARE polish in today and it is STUNNINGG! Pictures don't even do this one justice! I ordered it this week and loved it so much I bought 2 more hahaha I can't wait to collect them all! Plus how CUTE is that bottle? Am I right! haha

Haha! Half of those tees came from etsy! I looooooove etsy. I've noticed that a lot of people that suffer from depression have rabbits... I don't know what it is about them, they have healing qualities that's for sure. I can't imagine my life without Ollie now. He saved my life. There are times when it still gets rough of course, but just a couple hours hanging out with Ollie and getting onto B.B. do wonders for me. It's silly how that works. I love how everybody on here is so friendly and so much of a community or warren I should say. And ohhhh my gosh. BUNNY SLIPPERS! OF COURSE! I need some bunny slippers.... ! |

bahahahaa I should've known!!! lol I am an etsy alholic! hehe And your totally right, bunnies save lives! There is something so therapudic about them! When we got Beatrix (our first bun) I was having a super bad day one day. I just sat on the couch crying uncontrollably. She hopped up on my lap and climbed onto my chest and sat with me, as if to say "it will be okay." After a few minutes when she saw I was still crying, she licked all my tears off my face which made me ball even more. She just sat there cleaning my face and letting me stroke her. I knew at that moment that she had come into my life for a reason ( we had found her in our backyard and rescued her) When she died I was devestated but I learned an important lesson from her that I won't ever forget!
And I totally have to make a confession now...I've been looking at "Bunny Slippers" on etsy for the past half hour! hahaha I crochet and found this pattern I want to buy to make myself some for winter! Eeek!
And then I saw a lady who makes Mary Jane bunny slippers for $13 and they are so stinking cute!!!
I thought this style was pretty cute too! hehe

Christina I have been eyeing that pattern for months!!!! xD I stink at crocheting though so I haven't gotten it. I have never heard of Franken polish before. Sounds interesting. I love nail polish but rarely get any since in so many different brands there is formaldehyde in which is horrible for you. Haha LongHairMike! I always feel that when ever I go into an Asian market. I have no clue what it tastes like but get it any way. =p Hope those taste good! I'm sorry Clover has to go back. She seems like such a sweet bun. |

Sorry you have to send Clover back but I look forward to your next vacationing bun! Amy: Getting your wisdom teeth done....ugh. I have a totally different story from Cristina. Mine was HORRIBLE. I was swollen and black/blue for about two weeks. It hurt to eat or drink and I took my pain meds for a week solid. To this day there is still a bit of numbness on the left side of my mouth. Everything went fine during the surgery and there were no other problems, so it just depends surgery to surgery. |

Amy - I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out a few years ago. They weren't bothering me yet but my dentist suggest I get them out because they're really kinda pointless to have :/ I was incredibly drowsy when I woke up, I remember I could barely walk/see & the dentist & my mom were helping me to another room to lay down. I think I was crying I'm guessing from the medication & I was so confused lol. They had me on Vicodin for pain relief. My mom had to take me off it without the dentist consent because it was making me very emotional & angry haha. I got it done around thanksgiving so I was glad to use it as an excuse not to eat turkey (I don't like turkey ) I was in quite a bit of pain too, my mom had me start taking ibuprofen instead & that was a lot better Bumble fly....LOVE that gray shirt with the bow! But it's too much for me right now haha. Christina- 1000 eggs!? Poor Toby I wouldn't doubt that's why he was grumpy too heh. Glad to hear they're easy to treat though. And those gray slippers are adorable! I can crochet but I can't do patterns :/ I would make them white with one gray ear xD I've really only crocheted blankets since its very easy, but even then, it's the same knot over & over. I don't crochet too often, really only when I used to work in box office at the movies. I've had one blanket in making for almost a year now haha. I keep forgetting about it |

I think I pretty much have to agree with a lot of people here -- I've been slacking on BB and life in general, due to feelings of never getting anything done. Even when I do a ton during my day, it feels like it just hasn't been enough to make me happy... BUT I suppose I do have to cheer up -- my best friend from back home is coming down this coming weekend for my birthday AND I only have a 3-day work week this week since I took off Thursday-Sunday for my birthday weekend.
Our AeroGardens have been doing really well (knock on wood) except for our arugula which we took out and plan to plant romaine in the newly open slots this week. We're pretty sure the arugula ended up doing poorly due to the fact that we kept our condo at 69 degrees and arugula prefers to be at low 60 temps, the romaine has been doing nicely though!! I read that romaine does nicely even in the mid-70's so that seems to be the new plan of attack. The herbs are doing EXCELLENT though and the buns have been getting at least half their daily amount of salad every few days from it -- and they LOVE the variety. When they get the prune-age from the herbs and lettuce they go INSANE with mowing it all down.
We had to do their nails again and thankfully it's been getting MUCH easier. A lot less of a fight with them now even though I HAVE to cover their eyes during the process. But when they finish and get offered a few craisins (after snatching them out of our hands like thieves) they tend to be back to their playful selves.
Thought everyone might also enjoy this bunny cookie-cutter I picked up the other day at the store:
Thought it was cute and for a dollar, who could say no?
LongHairedMike -- I totally have to commend you on your ability to give these rescue buns a nice vacation, I would never be able to give them back. I'd be totally attached. And end up with an overflowing home of bunnies.

Love all the bunny stuff. I definitely have a bunch under my bookmarks and favorites on etsy.
So my sister got a puppy today. We got in a huge fight about it yesterday- - what's new right?
Anyways she actually got him from a rescue so I'm very proud of her for making a good choice (we had a whole, breeder vs. rescue argument). Anyways that's all over and I thought I'd share a pic of him, Pasha:
9 week old border collie mix.
My mom now has 3 grandfurbabies and no grandchildren lol. Their house is going to be crazy at Christmas with 4 dogs, 2 birds, 2 cats, and a bunji in a pear-tree.

@ Hazel - It was originally made by TreePartyDesign on Etsy. I have been lusting after it even before I got Ollie! How was everybody's day? I bought a table for the new apartment I'm moving into on the 28th. (It can't get here fast enough) It was $50.00 for a the table, 4 chairs, and leaf. I love craigslist. It seems like everyday I get on there and look to see if people are putting their buns up for sale. Only this community wouldn't take that statement the wrong way. HA! Anyways, was thinking about getting another bunny for Ollie after he gets fixed.... I so want to save a meat rabbit. There are several people on there selling meat rabbits. *sigh* after having a rabbit as a pet the thought of eating one is akin to someone eating a dog or cat for me. |

I realized recently that Peppy is completely house-trained, and it's been ages since I've had to shoo her away from any trouble spots. So I took down her pen...as of today, Peppy is free-roam! If she continues with her good behavior, that is . |

Will she be free range completely? Or will you still hutch her at night? I'm trying to figure out if Ollie should be a full time house bun like that... I had pretty much decided to let him have free roam except for at night when I couldn't watch him... |
