I just rescued 2, 6 month old female angora’s. I am trying to find a cage that would be big enough for both of them since they are used to being in the same cage with each other, even though right now I have them separated and they seem to be fine. I have not seen any cages from petstores that even look big enough for both of them. I am worried about the NIC cages because I  didn’t think they look like they would be sturdy enough and they looked like they would be difficult to clean and get to the bunny. Anyone know of a cage big enough I can purchase online or will I have to make a cage so it will be big enough?

I think you should check out the habitat section. There isn’t a commercially produced cage that is sufficient for one bunny, and an angora is pretty big; two will need some significant room. Making a condo or a pen is much better. NIC cages are super sturdy, just get really good zip ties and do at least one per joint, two is better; you can build almost anything with that model (cubes and zip ties) -line it with foam puzzle pieces or carpet underlay and then coroplast over top

So how’d you come to rescue two bunnies? I’m dying for pics

Xpens make better bunny habitats than commercial cages, and I would personally choose an xpen over a NIC condo because they are so much easier to clean. They can be collapsed completely to clean under and around (which you’ll need to do often with long-haired breeds like angoras).
