Hi guys!

Finally had the chance to introduce myself and my lovely new buns.

I only met them a day ago, and I'm completely new to rabbits!

They're daddy and son, both desexed, 2.5 & 2 years old. Daddy is very calm, while rabbit junior can be a bit naughty

They were abandoned buns so I have yet to name them.

Any naming suggestions will be warmly welcomed~

Welcome to BB. Would love to see some pics! Do you know breed? What color are they?

I'm not sure what breed they are (going to take them to visit the vet in an hour's time), but here are the photos! ^^

Well, they are lops. They might be mini's (except youre in Australia so they call them something else and BB has had this conversation many times and I can never keep it straight...)They look a lot alike

Welcome to BB They look like dwarf lops to me but I'm no expert (which is your mini lop Cinnabun!). Your bunnies are so cute! Junior looks like his Dad! They both look like they have butterfly markings on their faces, do they have spots anywhere else? Let us know how you get on at the vets .

i immediately thought his name should be Mug

Awwww they are so cute! They both look like mini lops. Do you know their weights?

I think they had a good time at the vets. The weather was great (at least for the morning, but then that's Melbourne weather for you, literally 4 seasons in a day!) I don't own a car and the vet was half an hour's walk away, so I had to place them in a large box and in a trolley and pushed them there. They seemed happy munching on veggies, and even stood up on their back feet to take a good look (and sniff) of the world

They were okay with being handled, though I made sure to keep my arms held low when I'm picking them up. They both did well when the vet patted, prodded and gave them vaccs, but just as the vet was saying that they're well-behaved bunnies, Junior decided to make a dash and almost hopped off the table!!!

They have slightly different markings on their face, and Junior has some pale grey spots on his back, that's how I tell them apart

Thanks for the suggestions!! ^^ My grandma gave them Chinese names, 'Mantou' and 'Baozi', which are names for different types of Chinese steamed buns (the food kind!)

I like Moostachio, maybe that can be Junior's nickname
