I was considering getting an additional xpen for my new bunny trio to make their existing 4x4 xpen enclosure bigger. But after looking at our basement, I might be able to stretch it across if I can attach it to the wall and make a 13x10 ft area instead. It's a walkout, so there are existing brick walls. The one side could be attached to the wooden door frame by the bathroom door... but how can I do it? Has anyone connected an xpen to a wall? I think I could do something on the brick side so it just doesn't move, not actually attach it. I'm not keen on the idea of drilling into an external brick wall.

Does it need to be able to open on the door frame side? If not you can nail the fence to the door frame using these nails. Put the wire in between the U nail.

Hmm... those might work. It doesn't have to open on that side. I'm thinking of doing it on the side of the bathroom door so it would open into the pen (bathroom has two doors). I'm pretty sure we have some of those in the garage from when we built our horse fence.

Or if you can put the "eye" part of an eye-hook system in, you could just loop a ziptie thru. I'd get two "eyes", one for the top and bottom. And then if you needed to remove the pen, just snip the zipties and get new ones.

Good idea Beka! maybe instead of zipties if the "Eyes" Were big enough you could attach them with a dog leash clip.
