        Hey everyone,

My rabbit is a netherland dwarf around 1 and 1/2 years old. He usually gobbles up his pellets within minutes, but he didn’t eat his dinner last night or fresh pellets I gave him this morning. He did eat veggies and I saw him eating some hay.

        What could be going on?

        Thanks!

So many things. You really must seek help from a vet on this.

I agree. I wouldn’t wait on calling either.

Is he eating veggies and hay enthusiastically? Or just a bit? Keep an eye on how much he poops too..it helps to change out his litter so you can see which ones are new.

Agreed. A bunny not eating is usually vet time. It’s my experience that a bunny unwilling to eat all of a sudden is usually the result of some sort of GI upset, in which case he may need motility and/or pain drugs and fluids.
