  Just wondered if anyone new what breed my bun is? She’s beautiful and the hair around her face has diff grown since I got her which was around 3 months ago,,, thanks in advance.

  im so glad you said that!! thats what i thought she was, iv dont quite a bit of research and thats the only thing i could come up with, her ears seem larger that ususal lionheads though? aww thank you,, hes what i refer to as a proper nethie… teenytiny and small ears and massive eyes… just perfect! 🙂

  i reckon lionhead/angora cross!! just saw a picture on google of one and she is exactly the same! nice to no roughly what she is 🙂

  Lionheads aren’t a recognized breed yet, so they don’t have a strict standard and can look very different from one to the next. She’s definitely a lionhead though and doesn’t seem to be crossed with angora or another wooly breed. Her hair pattern of wooly hair vs shorter hair matches a lionhead.

  Oh I didnt realise they wernt recognised, she deff has lionhead in her , her hair is growing soo fast round her face

  I think breeders are still working on getting them recognized, and they can show, but they don’t have a set breed standard so you see all different types. The most desirable hair pattern is like hers – long around the face and in the “skirt” area, but short across the back. Other wooly breeds are wooly all over the body, which is why I think she’s a purebred.
