I am looking for a carrier that has a front door and a door that opens on the top. It needs to be a carrier that can hold two 5lb bunnies. I currently have one that is loaned to me but it doesn't have an open top. I can't find one ANYWHERE not one big enough anyway. =(
I haven't checked petco or petsmart (the actual stores) yet...just online..Anyone know of a place where I can buy a good sized carrier with two doors?? |

In the Los Angeles area, a small chain called Centinela Feed use to have a couple of carriers that had front and top doors. I have not seen them the last couple of times I have been there, but if you are close it might be worth asking. |

I got mine at petco. Mine is the dog whisperer series, and they have several sizes. Good carriers |

My carrier has a front door and if I lift a few latches, the top comes off. Most carriers in stores here do that, if that is an option. |

I found my carrier in PetSmart or PetCo (can't remember which one). They carried a couple different carriers with two doors, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. |

I found mine in the cat section at Petsmart - I don't think they make my particular model anymore but it's designed for cats (the 2 door carrier). They usually have 2 sizes. Mine are Petmate carriers. |

I have the same one Skipper's Mama has, the Cabrio, and I got it at Petsmart. They had it on sale, way up high on a shelf, so be sure to look around. I love it, and my vet thinks it's space-age cool. (A Jetson's Carrier) I'd highly recommend it, but you might have to find it online now and order it from somewhere. |

Ooo, just clicked SM's link and it is at Petco on sale, with free shipping on orders over $49. It's $55, so consider ordering because it's the shipping of the heavy carrier that adds up in price. That's about what I paid for mine. If you don't like it, you can always return it to your nearest Petco in person. |

It is a cool looking carrier but I wonder if it will comfortably hold 2 midsize rabbits? I think you'd have to see it in person to try it on for size. |

Exactly what I was thinking. I am going to go to petco and petsmart next week to see what they have in stock. |

I've seen this 2 door style at Drs. Foster and Smith and some other online sites. The medium size (the largest one they have) is a little bit bigger than the dimensions of the Cabrio that was mentioned. The dimensions are 24" x 16" x 14.5". I think that would be large enough for 2 five pound rabbits. It's on sale right now and you would get free shipping. I have a smaller top opening carrier, but I've only had one rabbit in it at a time. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...atid=24657 |

It's quite roomy for one. Two would be a cozy fit side by side. Kind of like a pair of slippers. Depends on the size of your bunnies, I guess. (It would hold 14 of Monkeybun's Monkey, LOL) I hope you find one to check it out. |

I'm glad you found one - a good carrier is a great investment (in my opinion). |
