A couple of people have asked about resizing images.  Microsoft makes a nice little program that you can download for free that resizes pictures.  It attaches itself into the Windows menus, so you can just right click on the picture and there will be a "Resize Pictures" item.  You can find it here:

Cool thanks for the info Osprey! I just used to use Kodak software that came with my camera to re-size and save in web-friendly format, but with my new laptop, I don't have that anymore.

RICOH, maybe check out some of the options mentioned in this forum thread from Microsoft. social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums...eeec1d7e71

I use Windows XP and resize images with MS Office Picture Manager.  I just right mouse click on the picture in my folder, scroll down to "Open with" then select Microsoft Office Picture Manager.   Assuming Vista would have this too....

Desma others have mentioned you can size pictures in Paint (if you use Windows). Also, I think you can open pictures in other applications, use the image editor there then resave to your picture folder. Another alternative is opening a free Photobucket account, upload photos there and edit as required. You can either post picture direct from Photobucket by posting the URL image code using the Insert Picture icon in the post editor OR save the edited/resized pic in photobucket back into your computer files under a new name.

Edit: Is this for pictures in the forums or adding pictures into you Profile album?  For pictures in the forums, if they upload ok as an attachment (i.e fit size limit) you can insert the image in the post, click on the image and resize it using your mouse.
