Has anyone tried Farmer Dave’s hay? I have been ordering Sierra Valley, but they are out of 2nd cut timothy and my buns won’t eat the 1st cut. I wish I could find an affordable hay that my picky bunnies will eat.

What’s wrong with timothy hay from oxbow? You can get 50lbs for only 65 dollars and free shipping from dr smith and foster website.

My bunnies won’t eat it and it kills my allergies. The last box I got was way too dusty, I ended up with a sinus infection from my allergies flaring up.

Yea I understand what you mean, I couldn’t deal timothy hay from oxbow but I let my roommate feed timothy hay to pets while I feed orchard hay to my rabbits.

              what about KMS hay loft?

Never order it before but from what I read, it is a lot of less dusty than oxbow.

It’s been a long while since I’ve ordered from them, but I have in the past. I’m still sold on APD 2nd cut and KMS 3rd cut though.

I’m not at all a fan of Oxbow hay.

I did order KMS and my piggies love it. Bun’s snubbed it (what the heck?!). They are just okay with APD. I guess if I have to “settle” it will be APD. Maybe I need to order a topper to entice them?!

I am not familiar with Farmer Dave. My bunny seems to be happiest with the hay I order from BB’s store. She likes it much more than Oxbow. Sarita’s bunnies love the American Pet Diner products, but I have discovered that my bunny’s taste seems to run the opposite of hers, and she doesn’t like the softer hays at all. She’s a Mature Oat eater, or the Mixed, and gobbles her Oat from BB. Not meant as a plug, just my current experience.
