I posted a question about this earlier but still not sure what to do. Bunny is being treated by a regular vet for a runny eye, presumably pasteurella. No culture done. 4 weeks of Baytril didnt help. Now started on Doxycycline and Ofloxacin.

The eye is getting worse.  I am getting more concerned and frustrated because I am not finding on the internet that Doxycycline and Ofloxacin are used to treat pasteurella conjuctivitis. Especially without doing the culture. Anyone heard of these meds used for pasteurella? I will take and post a photo later. I wonder if this vet is not bunny savvy why didnt he recommend seeing a rabbit specialist rather than agreeing to treat the bunny? I dont know if I should continue the ordered meds or see a specialist. The closest rabbit vet is over an hour away and I dont know how much the visit and treatment cost.

I don’t think you will find any one particular treatment concerning runny eye for rabbits on the internet. Both are fine to use and I say give it a try and if it doesn’t clear it up seek a 2nd opinion from a more rabbit savvy vet. Runny eye could be the cause of many things, not necessarily pasturella.
