Hello everyone my name is Robyn, I'm 18 and I got my first bun for my birthday on the 24th. I keep her in my room with me and she's already realised that rattling her cage in the morning will wake me up and ultimately get her fed!
My little mini lop doe is called Belle and she's ten weeks today. She's been home with me for nearly two weeks now and she seems to be settling in okay. At first she was really timid and just sat in her litter tray all day but now she actually uses her litter tray and has started getting a little curious! When I'm in my room I open my cage and let her come and go as she pleases but now she's getting braver she likes to try and get at her food bags! I caught her taking a little nibble on the carpet last week but she's not done it since so hopefully I've nipped that one in the bud! (She's quite naughty though so I doubt it). She doesn't mind being stroked or brushed and at first she didn't mind a little hold but now when I pick her up she just wriggles as much as she can. I think she just needs some more time to get used to me after all it's only been two weeks. I've added a couple of photos I've taken of her so far and I think you'll all agree that she is quite a little sweetheart!
And today after I set up her new fan she decided to just relax.
aww she is cute!!! Baby is our mini lop and she doesn't mind being pet but getting picked up is the end of the world with her. she was just skin and bones when we got her, but she is doing better. she went from about 1/2 a lb to about 4 and is healthy and happy with her bunny husband Blue (Flemish Giant LOL)
Welcome to BB!
She is precious! I have a mini lop too Aren't they just awesome?!

You're welcome! Oh and another idea--Quinn really hates being picked up directly from the floor, but is much calmer about being picked up off a chair, the couch or from the top of a box. I don't know if Belle would be the same way, but it has been a great way to work with my bun on being more comfortable with being picked up, and maybe it might work for you, too.
