OUR FORUM IS UP BUT WE ARE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF UPDATING AND FIXING THINGS.  SOME THINGS WILL LOOK WEIRD AND/OR NOT BE CORRECT. YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED.  We are not fully ready to answer questions in a timely manner as we are not officially open, but we will do our best.

You may have received a 2-factor authentication (2FA) email from us on 4/21/2020. That was from us, but was premature as the login was not working at that time.

This was the original post made when Frosty had choking during a natural gas leak:

        https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/120027/Default.aspx

But last night she choked again, and this time we still have the gas stove turned off (I’m scared of it!) so the cause has to have been something different. I talked to a couple of people and the two main leads I’m pursuing are – (1) allergy/asthma or other inhalant sensitivity, or (2) choking on pellets or other food – I understand that sometimes a pellet can expand before it gets down far enough and cause problems.

Any other bunparents who have had experiences with this, I would be grateful for your feedback. Also here are some links I found for what to do if your bunny chokes:

Have you had her teeth checked?

I would pursue it with a vet. You don’t want to prolong an issue if it needs clearing up, and if you don’t care for your vet, it’s a good reason to get a second opinion from someone else.
