OK so a lil over a month ago I notice he was flaky and so I did so reading and called the vet. (yes a lil freaked out) Oh and he wasnt didgging or scratchiing at all and I brush him 3times a week cause he has a fuzzy bottom and I want to keep him clean.Well he had mites vet said since we dont have any other rabbits and he is kept indoors it’s something hes most likely had  since before we got him. He told us to put revalution on him twice that month and then once every 6 weeks and it would heal itself. It seemed to be healing up the couple spots he had are gone. But not under his chin is dry and crusty and he has lost his hair but his dulap is fuzzy and fine. What’s going on..

He does drink out of a bowl even though I have tried to do the bottle thing he wont touch it. I remember the lady we got him from said something about this happening because of drinking from the bowl… I think I will email her too.

I did take him to the vet today to have his nails done but the vet was out to lunch and the vet tech didnt seem concerned.

Maybe I am stressing over nothing… Any thought?

My bun Blue had two patches like that on his back where his sholder blades were. the Vet said the same thing that it was mites but Blue doesn’t visit outside, and I paid 50 for some kind of medicine to put on it. all his hair grew back and has been normal since, I am wondering if it was some tipe of allergy or something. The vet told me the same thing not to worry about it. I am wondering if its a thing only with the FLemies?

Ok so I talked to the breeder today she emailed me and then called me.She is sooo sweet.

It is just from his fur getting wet. She said to shave the area if any of it is still their and treat with a triple antibotic cream once a day for a week. And try had to keep it dry. She also said most Flemmies are hard headed and a lil lazy so once the go to a water bowl they wont go back to a bottle. But we already knew that the only time he gets really active is if he smells Kale or bananas and then he goes nuts. So we are all good aslong as it doesnt turn or change colors. So very happy…
