        Stumbled upon this website while browsing, figured it looked useful! So I decided to join!    I’m fairly new to the ‘bun life,’ BUT I must say I LOVE every (okay, not EVERY, but fairly close!) minute of it!  I have a single bun, his name is Kelby (Odd name, right? Also have Simon (bird) to go with my unhealthy obsession with Simon and GarfunKEL, see! KELby haha)

        Any who, back on topic!

        I have one rabbit, and I’ve had him since he was 7 weeks old, and he’s a fawn/orange english lop, he just turned one on April 24th and yet he’s still my snuggly baby <3  He is not currently neutered, but his neuter date is soon approaching! (Kinda feel bad for the little guy!)

        His personality varies by the day, usually he’s a sweetheart, unless he doesn’t get his way, then he turns into a little diva and throws a thumping fit!  Or if I ignore him he’ll use me as a jungle gym and get in my face and give me kisses! <3 It's sort of annoying, but he's to cute, so I don't mind!

        Well there’s my introduction, so here are some pictures of my bun;

        For some reason the cutest ones won’t upload , so here’s a link to an album of just Kelby! With the cutest pictures of course!

        And here’s his ‘cage’ that he’s stuck in while I’m not home, but when I am he is out, following me around like a pup (:

        Thanks for reading! Looking forward to the help and stories everyone offers here!

        Emily (:

          Welcome! Kelby is very cute! Was he a rescue bunny or something? Usually baby bunnies don’t get seperated from their mom until they’re about eight weeks old.

            I actually bought Kelby from a breeder :/ I’d prefer adoption, but I had to have him! Oh, wow, that seemed early to me also! I had to look at my calender from last year! He was born April 24th and I brought him home June 9th, so he was 7 weeks, not 5! Still a bit early, but..oh well..

              I’ve had my girl since she was 7-8 weeks of age, and she is thriving quite well!
              As for breeders, some will discard them if they are not of breed standard or show standard. It is the sad truth That is how I got my Chacha bunny. She is a Netherlands Dwarf, but is not the typical 2 pound, small eared, small face dwarf that people usually see. She is 4 pounds, with a big booty, big head, long arms, etc. But she is my baby and that is all that matters!

              Welcome, by the way
              Feel free to ask questions Good to hear that he will be getting neutered soon!

                  Welcome! Those ears are something… CUTE! Does he trip on them though? I always wondered how they would affect binky-ability.

                    Yes! Those ears! That’s what I loved most! Out of his litter he had the longest! Haha but yes, he always trips on his ears, almost everyday if he isn’t careful! Poor bun! But I keep his nails trimmed and filed so he doesn’t hurt himself! And the ears do not affect his binky-ability! They do fly all over though! It’s adorable! I’ll see if I can catch a video of his binkys!

                            Haha I’ll try! But it’s so hard to do considering it’s always at random! BUT when he decides to binky it’s simply the cutest thing in the world! <3

                            And Esarv: Thanks (: That’s his snuggle buddy when I’m to busy to snuggle! Haha
