I have a litterbox for inside my bunny’s cage, but I was interested in getting one that I could place on the floor for when she’s hopping around in my room. Is there a bunny-sized litterbox (She’s a Holland Lop) that had a top on it like some cat boxes do? Thanks!

A covered box? Just get a covered cat litter box Most “rabbit” litter boxes are too small to be comfy for bunnies, most of us just use cat litter boxes

              Thanks for the replies!

As for selling it on the site, I couldn’t find a covered litterbox. I would use a regular cat-sized one, but the pans are so high I wasn’t sure if my baby bunny could hop over the side and use it.

I’ve also heard of people using hard sided carriers with plastic bottoms as litter boxes. I’m not sure if this is the type of “covered” that you’re talking about.

Is there a specific reason that you want a covered litterbox?

I know BB sells litterboxes with a wire grate kind of top. Is that what you mean?

I just wanted a covered litter box for aesthetic purposes. If I can’t find one, that’s fine, but I’ve seen pictures on other websites of bunnies with covered litterboxes and I thought it would be perfect for outside of the cage.

I prefer large cat boxes. It is not appealing, however, it is easy for my rabbit to use, and she has no problems getting in or out of the box. I would be concerned if your bunny is comfortable in it, and does not take jumping too high to get into it/out of it.
