I had Rascal and Valentine out today together in the pen.  It was very easy and nothing happened.  It was the most boring hour but worth it!  lol   Rascal always tries to get kisses but always gets rejected.  Then he tries to groom her but she scurries away.  Silly Valentine.  She will get used to him eventually.  I caught them this evening laying side by side in different pens but they were still pretty close to each other.  I am wondering when to offer food to them together when they are out in the bonding pen?  I don’t want them to fight over food.  Val is a bit of a piggy.  haha I only offer water right now and then they just hop around in the pen.  I want to take them out again sometime tonight to bond them.  Living in a house with other people (especially a bratty sister) makes it hard.  But I can force her out of that room.  =P

I think it should only take a couple weeks to get them bonded.  I am no expert at bonding though so I could be wrong.  Val is playing the hard to get role.  haha

Here they are at different sides of the pen:

Adorable! Why don’t try a pile of hay in the middle of the pen first and see how that goes as far as feeding.

We were in the bathroom today for two hours. I didn’t want to separate them!!  lol  I had to though because I had to start making dinner.  They are showing definite signs of love.  haha Rascal more so than Val.  She groomed him a little which is always so nice to see!  I added the hay but they didn’t eat any.  I might just add some greens next time.  They get along so well.  I am always very careful, although today I was a little more relaxed with them since they were so calm.  I put on some music and all was well!  Here are a couple pictures of the happy couple in progress!
