I've given up trying to keep fur off EVERYTHING IN MY APARTMENT! I take a lint roller to every piece of furniture Cinnabun is allowed on at least 4x a week and even then I can see white hairs on everything. Mostly I just try to keep her groomed so that way all her loose hairs get caught in the comb and not on me and my very large black shirt collection. Hay is sort of the same thing; her hay dish is on top of a rug so it only gets on the rug and I vacuum that once a week but she's pretty good about keeping the hay around her nom-nom area. For poop: is Racsal potty trained? The only time Cinnabun started leaving poops everywhere was when her hormones were raging, was instantly fixed after she got spayed. Potty training and fixing go a long way (seriously long way) to prevent poop everywhere.

One tip for the rug - if I don't want to haul out the vacuum, I just grab the slicker brush and brush the rug. It's really good at pulling up a lot of hair and in 20sec the rug is much cleaner than it was before.

Another thing I do is keep the litterboxes in a pet store type cage with a plastic bottom. The bunnies still drag some of the hay and poops out with them, but it definitely helps to keep most of the hay and mess in one easy to clean spot.

try a hand vac, they should'nt more than a regular one and their a lot smaller. i got mine for steps and then came pets
just makes it more convenient all the way around.

Rascal is litter box trained, I don't know how poops get out of the litter box. lol He is also neutered. I just did a cleaning and rearrange. I made his environment larger by adding a doggy crate to his x-pen. Much larger now! I took a broom and swept up the hay from the rug then took the rug and shook it out outside...kind of a mistake because sooooo much fur went flying in the air lol But it got clean for the most part. I think I am going to get a hand vacuum, that sounds like a good idea! haha I am going to post pics of Rascals old and new area in another thread. Thank you for your ideas!

i bought a carpet sweeper from target for $40. its awesome at pickign up hay. Saves wear and tear on my more expensive vacuum too. I recommend them

I have a totally separate vacuum for my rabbit room. It's pretty much a necessity. I don't like using my regular vacuum for my rabbit room because I don't want it to pick up the odors from poop, hay, etc...I vacuum and clean twice a day for my rabbits. But I have 3 seniors and they just aren't good with their litter boxes any longer.

My best advice is to just set-up the area in a way that allows you to have easy access for cleaning. My buns have a pen that can be pulled away from the wall to clean behind as needed. And the pen is on a rug that protects our carpeting. And we long ago established a "no bunnies in the bedroom" rule. I don't want excess fur on our clothing, bedding, etc... Other than that, it's just a daily process of cleaning up bit by bit between a full cleaning.
