So I recently adopted the most beautiful Mini Lop.
I named him Romeo because he’s so cute and friendly even charming lol.

After doing some research I started to wonder was this really a girl?
I’ve been around other buns before and it wasn’t hard to figure out but this one was tough.
After all I was assured he was a he. An accidental breeding I was told.

Anyways after further review, taking pics and sending it to actual breeders for advice I’ve finally got my answer
Its a girl and I have now named her Sassy.

At least now I know and look forward to getting to know and learn from everyone here. I wanted to add she loves to binky around, not completely sure about steps just yet, seems to like having her picture taken. I swears Sometimes I get the feeling she’s even posing for me.

I feel like that is a pretty common mistake! My Cinnabun was a boy until I went to a pre-neuter check up and then was informed that my baby boy (whom I had by this time for 5 months) was a girl!

Welcome to BB! Can’t wait to see more pics

@Cinnabun, thanks, I am really liking what I am reading and seeing. I haven’t been able to master attaching pictures to post so if you just check out my profile I have added a photo album of her with a couple of great pictures. She makes it too easy for me, again I think she’s purposely posing.

@Monkeybun, yes the avatar is my Sassy. Hey, they say everyone has a twin
              Cannot wait to see yours.

Samething happened to us… I was told Hunny was a male and “he” was Goodboy BUT when we went for the pre neuter appt I was told “he” didn’t have boy parts, lol. Since I had been constantly saying “Honey you’re such a Goodboy” she was named “Hunny”…

Welcome & looking forward to future posts & pics!…

@Monkbun, yes they do look exactly alike, how cute!!!

@Hunny’s Momma, it’s just terrible isn’t it. I had debated if I could’nt find out at this time then I would just have to find a unisex name. I haven’t even told my kids yet, they are going to be so surprised.

As for the pictures attached, I do apologize for sending that last one like a million times, don’t know what happened.

Welcome Haha that happens a lot! My humane society said that Wilbur was a boy…so I named her Wilbur but then a few weeks later at her vet appointment I found out she was a girl. It was too late for me too change the name, it had already stuck Sassy’s coloring is so pretty!! She’s adorable.
