Hello, I have one bunny, Jezabel. She’s an American Fuzzy Lop. She was 10 weeks old when I got her on 5/19/12, so by now she’s about 11 weeks.
She’s my very first bunny, and we’re becoming great friends.
Jezabel is a fluffy ball of fun. I let her out of her cage to hop around when I can watch her (which is most of the time I’m home), and she loves it. Luckily, her poop isn’t hard to clean up, as we’re still in the process of potty-training.

As for me, I’ll be a college freshman in the fall. I’ll be living at home, though, so Jezzie and I won’t be moving any time soon. The first thing that made me want to get a bunny was their cuteness, not gonna lie. But when I began to read about the benefits of having a pet rabbit, I was totally sure it was the perfect pet for me. Using my research, I made a powerpoint, which ultimately convinced my mom to let me have one for my birthday. I could definitely see myself having more rabbits in the future, like when I’m raising a family.

Apart from grooming and playing with Jezzie, I like listening to music, writing, drawing, and doing puzzles.
I also like making friends, so feel free to talk to me.

            Welcome

I would like to offer a couple of tips that will make living with her easier

First, take away all the bedding on the floor, she only needs it in her litter box. Having it everywhere will make her confused when it comes to litter training. Trust me, one space to clean is better than everywhere

Second, she does need a ton more hay in her hay rack. 24/7 access to unlimited hay. It’s the most important part of her diet. Most bunnies like to eat and go potty at the same time, so keep her hay by the litter box for easier potty training

Thank you so much. I always make sure she has hay in there, but I’ll keep more in there at a time, too.
And I thought something was off about the bedding. I didn’t think it should take so long to clean up the cage. I guess I was right.  This makes life much easier!

Welcome! She’s precious! I agree with Monkeybun’s thoughts. My two buns would eat those few strands of hay in 2 seconds… lol.

I appreciate that you are going to hold off on getting a second rabbit until you’re older and more settled. Buns can be addicting, but the great thing about having a single bunny is that this allows them to bond more strongly to YOU!

Your bunny is absolutely adorable! And you’re right, they do look sorta similar.
