I met a photographer and i’m having him photograph me.

I told him that I had a bunny and he believes it would be a grand idea to bring Penelope along for the shoot.

What can I do to prepare Penelope? She is a very high-spirited bunny…

        Do you like the idea?

I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I know that for certain events and holidays the local House Rabbit Society will set up photo shoots for people and their bunnies. I’ve done it once before with them for a Christmas shoot. They had a mini carriage type sled on a snowy set, and the bunnies hang out in the sled, but the photographer also knew rabbits, and knew to be quick to keep the stress level down.
I mean the whole thing took less than 10 minutes! I am not sure how long your photo session is, but it is something to keep in mind.

I have a friend who is a professional photographer and she finds that she can get the best photos when people and animals are in their own element and she sets things up in their home or areas that they are familiar with. Her photos are amazing, natural and not “too posed”.
Is this photographer doing the shoot in a studio, or outside or ?? Are you going to have a friend or family member go with you? This may also help with keeping your bunny calmer if she is watched and given attention during the times she is not in the photo.

If it’s in the studio, just don’t have your bunny “wear” anything, including a leash or harness. Even a cute hat will make your already-nervous bunny worse.
Bring the carrier, have some water and pellets with you and let your bunny hang out back in the closed carrier when not in the shot. Your bunny will actually feel safer tucked in an enclosure. Try to not take too long before getting back home.

We were going to shoot inside of the studio.
She’s not going to wear her harness or anything else.
I’ll bring her in her carrier. She quite likes it.
Penelope knows me best, and it’ll be me and the photographer on the shoot.
I’ll bring pellets in a baggie. How do I bring water? I can bring a Zephyrhills bottle and a bowl, maybe…
              I can bring carrots, too.
I suppose I could bring my mom or a friend along, but, like I said, Penelope knows me best. My mom doesn’t like to handle Penelope.
It’s not going to last long because I don’t want Pen in all of the shoots. xD
