Not bunnies, but my dad has a roomba and a cat… She’s beyond terrified of it

I also have a friend with one and her dogs just think its an awesome toy she bought them.

I’m so curious how well these actually work – I sure love the idea of it though.

I have two and we’re sooo getting a third one because I heard the pet one is awesome-er.
They are beyond brilliant, they do so well with pet hair it’s actually pretty crazy. The only thing is they can be a bit loud, so we don’t put them on when we’re watching TV. None of the animals care about them (Rupert and Kahlua will sit there and let it bump into them, it’s really quite gentle when it bumps you)-Mikey at first was really weirded out, then he was picking fights with it, and now he just makes sure the Roomba isn’t after his toys. But yeah it’s totally totally pet safe. They sense each other, learn your house layout and won’t fall down the stairs. Seriously I need a robot that will do laundry and one that will load and unload the dishwasher and I’ll be laughing But seriously they really are great.

The cons? It needs frequent brush cleaning, but you now get a brush tool and everything comes apart easy so it’s just fine.
They must be plugged in at all times, otherwise the battery gets wrecked. Batteries are cheap now though at only about 40$ for a new one

Thats all I can think of for cons. It seriously is brilliant to put something on and walk away, and trust me your bunnies won’t mind at all -unless they are really vacuum shy.

That’s do awesome! We’re moving to a new house ( our first home!!!) soon, and I’m really looking into the 780 one! Its a chunk of money, but if it’s actually works, it think it would be so worth it!!

I had one that finally died after more than 8 years.  I had to replace the battery once, and clean it pretty regularly, but it was great at keeping the fluff somewhat contained.

Pepper used to box at it when it bumped into her, and once she jumped on top of it and accidentally turned it on and scared herself !  Eventually she learned that I usually only used it in one room at a time, so she’d sort of grrph at it and just leave the room until it was all over.

                          Lol what’s a roomba haha

It’s a round, self-propelling vacuum cleaner. Like a frisbee on wheels. I guess watch the video links to see it in action. K&K’s explanation is really good to know. (Bumps into Rupert??? LOL)

I didn’t know about the Roomba pet series! It’s been a while since we bought our roomba, so it’s an older version. but I like it alot. Works well on wood floors and our area rugs, but in our other place, with the thick carpet, it really wasn’t ideal for that.

The roomba doesn’t replace our vacuum cleaner completely, but we definitely can vacuum less often when we use the roomba regularly. It’s great for getting under the couch too and chairs too.

I would love to get one, but I can’t justify several hundred so I don’t have to vacuum as much. lol Maybe if I ever see a used one on sale… but that is a lot of bunny toys. 😮
