         Hey everyone!

Jenner likes to poop while he eats his pellets, so like with hay, should I place his bowl near or in his litter pan? I was thinking I could get a bowl that sticks on the side of the cage and place it next to the litter box. Any suggestions/tips?

        Thanks!

Good idea, rabbits like to poop while they eat lol. I always stick the bowl in the litter box, I think it encourages good litter habits.

When I give Lola her night pellets I stick it right in front of her little corner litter box. My boyfriend makes fun of her because he says she has the life “just sh*tting and eating at the same time!”…. I say HEY! IT WORKS! Now I want a feeder that hangs over her litter box in her cage! I didn’t even think of that! ha.

I think a hanging bowl is a good idea!

Yea, some bunnies seem to have one simultaneous intake/output signal lol. Bowl near the litter box would definitely be a good idea!

Yeah, it’s a great idea. Peter’s bowl is right next to his litterbox so he can sit in his box and poop while he’s eating!

I call that “Bunny Multi-tasking”. When you poo a thousand times a day you have to figure out ways to make it more convenient.

Thanks for all of the replies everyone!

I will try placing the pellets near the litter pan and see how that works. Hopefully it makes less poop that I have to sweep up every morning and night!

The hanging bowl is a good idea or you put the bowl in the corner of the litterbox. It is true that buns like to poo and eat.

You could get one of those bowls that hang off cages and drill two holes in the litterbox if it’s high sided and hang it off that! Now if only I could find something for sleep pooping lol Parsley literally does about 20-30 poos every time he takes a nap!!
