Riley passed away last night at 10:23 (March 11th) . As some of you guys know , he had something very wrong with him.Last night he just got alot worse...I came into the room too do my normal hour checck on him, and he looked horrible. He had a look in his eyes that i will never forget...Me and my mom have narrowed it down to what we think he had after last night. Im not sure the name of it but its a genetic disease that just kills them. Im glad that the little amount of pain he had is over. The part that really makes me upset is that he was only 1 year and 5 monthes old.... I love you baby Riley<3

I'm so sorry. I was honestly very concerned with your thread this weekend and the lack of an ER vet in your area. This is heart-breaking that he didn't make it long enough to get into the vet this morning. I would still recommend calling the vet this morning and asking for a necropsy to be done. This way you MAY be able to find out for sure what happened. The vet will also be able to discuss your options with you (lots of people are doing cremation now). Oh no! I was afraid I would wake up and see this post. I'm so sorry. I was really hoping he could make it to this morning and be seen. He knew he was loved and you did the best you could with the resources you had. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control and it really sucks. Remember the good times you spent with Riley and hopefully that will help lessen the memory of his last minutes. I am truly very sorry. I'm trying so hard not to cry. ((Binky Free Little Riley))

Thanks everyone...im getting by but im depressed. I did all i could until there was no way of helping him. But thanks again everyone ......Go spend some time with your buns!

I'm so sorry to hear about Riley. He had a loving home and good care with you in his life, and we never know how much time any of us have together. It's hard, but you did your best. I want to thank Beka for posting the link to this thread here. It helped.

Have your people call my people. We'll do carrots.
