This is Lola....my very spoiled 4-month Holland Lop.  We finally setlled on a name for her 2-weeks ago...she was a difficult one to figure out personality-wise.  She is starting to become an adult bunny now (so sad) and we are beginning to look into spaying options (shh! don't tell her!).  After she is spayed we plan on building her a nicer place...she seems to love her current cage even though it's on the small size though...she is really only in it when we aren't around and has the run of the apartment when we are home!  She is surprisingly well-behaved and will even come when you use the correct tone of voice!  She is super-sensitive though and if you yell at her she holds a major grudge.

I've had some issues trying to update pictures - so there are a few of my questions already floating aroung on the forum!  I just wanted to post a picture of you to give a picture of the bun in question!  don't let that cute face kid you - she is TROUBLE.

  1. Rabbit names: Lola
  2. Rabbit Age: 4 months
  3. How long has your bunny been with you? 2 months!
  4. Spayed/Neutered? in the process of finding a good but not too expensive vet in San Diego (not easy to come by...if anyone knows of a vet that charges less than $300 for a spay ... let me know!)
  5. Rabbit Personality Traits: right now I am going through a SPAZ phase....hello puberty! but i love to cuddle

  1. Are you new to rabbits or have you been a bunny slave for a long while now?
Had a Holland Lop about 6 years ago...
  2. What made you choose to have a rabbit companion in your life? I'm a dog person...but my boyfriend is constantly going to different pet stores for his fish and everytime I would just stand at the baby bunny cage and watch them all...he tortured me for months taking me to those places and surprised me on Christmas with a certificate "Good For One Small Fluff-Fluff"...of course, we were leaving to visit my parents and I had to wait WEEKS to get her...but I finally found the PERFECT bun and now she is as spoiled as ever.
  3. Anything else that you'd like to share - hobbies, interests, talents. I'm a marine science grad student in San Diego.

Thanks guys!  She has to be cute for how incredibly rotten she is!  It's the only way she'd make it in this world...TRUST ME.  Little booger decided to eat all of her Carefresh litter last night.  (Trust me: keeping a close eye on it and rethinking litter options, so far eating and pooping normally - and binkying all over the place because she's thrilled it's after 10 in the morning and my boyfriend and I are still home and not at work...)

PS - that's a KAYTEE brand of bedding in that picture which she ALSO found delectable and was a litter NIGHTMARE - that stuff tracked EVERYWHERE....whosever idea it was to make tiny slivers of thin paper bedding obviously didn't think of static cling....

Wow! She is quite probably one of the cutest bunnies on Earth!!! She sounds like a little stinker, too, which the cutest critters often are. Lol. You could try using a litter screen to discourage her from digging around in - and eating - her litter.

Try your local humane society for a spay clinic. I def wasnt going to pay 300+... but my humane society only charges 35!!! so coco is getting done in a month!

Local Humane Society doesn't do them in San Diego... Just tried calling. Going to make my rounds with calling some vets!

Welcome to you! But I'm pretty sure that's not a real bunny. It's too cute. Looks like some sort of ridiculously adorably, floppy plush toy.

Oh wow. Cuteness overload. I seriously can't get enough of that face!!! <3

(on a litter note, try wood stove chips! They usually don't eat them and they might stay in the box better Although you also need a bigger box )

I'll add my vote to all the rest - just adorable! And that name - Lola, matches the cuteness. Welcome!
