ok,so while i’ve had bunnies before Parsley is my first baby/teenage bunny. Ive noticed information saying to give unlimited pellets until 7 months old. However this seems like a lot, especially considering my bun is a guts ! He has the young rabbit oxbow pellets, along with unlimited hay and starting on vegies, just wondering what people here would recommend re pellet portions?

Most of the time, unlimited for young bunnies. Unless they aren’t eating hay, then you will want to give them smaller portions so the hay is more tasty looking.

I agree with MB. One thing I would recommend is giving him premeasured portions a few times a day. If he generally eats a cup of food per day, maybe feed him 1/2c each morning and evening. Doing it this way will let you see how much he’s eating on a daily basis. If you fill up one large bowl and always keep it full then it won’t be so obvious if he isn’t feeling well and stops eating.
