I’ m sure this question has been asked over and over again, but what is the best way to know? I sit in her pen and she’ll run behind me, jump over my legs, and occasionly get in my lap. I know rabbits aren’t cuddly animals ,well, at least mine isn’t. Sometimes when I pet her she’ll kinda hunker down and halfway close her eyes. She doesn’t run from me or anything, so does she like me? I’ve tried to get her to tell me but she gave me the silent treatment. lol, JK. Thanks in advance!

I think all bunnies show their love differently, but mostly I believe it’s through trust and it sounds like you definitely have that! Mine will groom the ground when getting pets and this is also a good sign! All buns are very different my boy is a complete brat and me and my bf have actually started to believe he has some seperation anxiety when I’m not around and when I come back I have to spend extra time with him otherwise I get lots of rabbitude, Sophie on the other hand gets over anything with a Craisin. Sounds like you’re off to a great start!

If your rabbit is socializing with you, feels comfortable around you, and asks for pets, you’re definitely on the right track. I think she sounds like she is showing you affection, and you just need to keep building your trust! She’s a really pretty bun, by the way!

When rabbits don’t want to be petted, they let you know and just hop away (often giving you the bunny butt after!). Since she lets you pet her and relaxes while you do it, she sounds fairly cuddly to me. Climbing on you and being comfortable also sound like great signs.

If she is coming to you, hopping around you, nudging you, putting her paws on you, being relaxed when you pet her, then I would say she already likes you a lot! Bunny love is much different than dog or cat love, but if you pay attention, you can understand when she is at ease and enjoying your company

bunnies can get pretty cuddly – after about 10 months of living with wesley, he is very cozy around me. he will run to my feet when i come in, put his paws up on me when he wants to be pet, and lick/groom my face. he doesn’t shy away when i approach him, and he will come up to the bed or couch if i’m on it and he’s feeling social. it took a good 8 months to get to that point with him. all bunnies are different though. it sounds like you two are getting on well!

Checks on me when I fall asleep on the futon. Licks my face. Lightly nibs me. Nose nudges. Binkies. Sits with you. Naps beside your feet.

My bun is very expressive – he jumps on me, licks me A TON, binkies sometimes, runs around my feet, and loves when I pet him.

Brittany will let you pet her and close her eyes. Makes noises at you when shes playing. So far no kisses or chinning. I got her when she was about a year old. So that might have something to do with it. Or shes just more reserved. Malachi (r.i.p) chinned me a few times. He would kiss me and lay next to me. I also had him as a baby. Binky on the other hand, OMG. He never stops chinning or licking anything of my bf’s stuff. They even have their own version of tag. Its sooo cute. I need to tape it. Hes kissed me and chinned me a few times but has such a bound with my bf. They just seem to show it differently.
