Oh definitely. I feed my rabbits a huge variety of greens and they love it. The key is variety. What types of greens do you feed Buster?

Yeah, mine gets a big plate of greens every night for dinner and never had an issue with him not eating enough hay or poop issues

My rabbit gets a ton of veggies (probably 4 cups a day), and she does well. Veggies usually aren’t a problem, it’s too many pellets that can cause obesity and teeth issues. Just make sure the veggies you’re feeding don’t upset the rabbit’s stomach by feeding a little at first, then increasing. But once you establish what veggies to feed, go right ahead. Veggies are high in nutrients but low in calories and also great for their teeth.

Iceberg is unhealthy because it has 0 nutritional value, its basically water. Its not toxic though. I’d use Romaine instead. And carrots are more of a treat than a green, so it should probably be less than 1oz a day (1 baby carrot).

You stated that you do use iceberg up top

I would just use romaine, green leaf, red leaf lettuce.

I think he meant not iceberg. Iceberg is not the best you can use and there are better – it’s got a bad rap mainly because it’s mainly grown conventionally rather than organically. There are definitely alternatives that are much better.
