I took this off since it seems to be causing major concerns and someone may use it carelessly and I don’t want to be the cause for someone killing their rabbit.

What is it? And what aisle was it in?

More importantly, what is it made of ? My buns nibble their litter so anything in the box needs to be edible.

I’m concerned with what the ingredients are…I can’t seem to find anything about ingredients or if it is pet safe online…why is the internet so difficult sometimes?!

Isopropanol is rubbing alcohol….and I think the other word says Ethanol??? Interent is saying both of those are types of like rubbing alcohol… I would think seeing that it says contact with eyes is bad and swallowing is bad, it might not be the best thing to use. I will have to research more. Unfortunatley the internet isn’t telling me much when it comes to safety of pets with this product.

You may want to read through this. This of course is referring to humans, but rabbits senses are more sensitive than ours. That link is in reference to the second ingredient only. (BTW, ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL is another name for ISOPROPANOL)

Also just read that rubbing alcohol might be ok for dogs and cats, but not recommended for rabbits because their skin is so delicate and thin. Not that you are bathing them with the stuff, but I would be safe than sorry. The scent can be very strong too.

smelly = time to change litter box, whether you are ready or not

I wouldn’t use it, no rubbing alcohol will come near my bunnies

Natures Miracle contains rubbing alcohol. Maybe thats the ingredient as to why NM works well?

Just looking at the colour it reminds me of Windex. That reminded me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. “Put some windex on it.”

NM uses alcohol, but its main ingredient the “secret” one is enzymes that attack the stain / smell – alcohol just reinforces and makes it dry really fast.

Nature’s Miracle uses several different ingredients tho, not just alcohol…my concern is there is only 2 ingredients in this, and they are both rubbing alcohol. I just think its better safe than sorry.
