 i was just wondering what the BB litter screen/ cover thing is made of?  i heard it was something like hardware cloth? are there different sizes? if so which size is the one from BB? thanks

Hardware cloth, with something over the edges to cover the sharp bits. I don't know if there are different sizes, the holes are very small, droppings stay on top.

thanks, i was also wondering if the holes were big enough for the poops to go through, but you answered my question ha.

No, even my little one's don't go through and they are really small. I think something about the litter screen is supposed to not be hard on their feet. I know it saves me time and litter though!

BB put a little disclaimer, if you have a rex or other breeds that are prone to sore hocks from wire to put hay on top - I just put a paper towel over half of it so my guys can stay off the wire but leave the corner they pee in uncovered.
