My rabbit, Joey, was neutered on Monday. He’s fine, I am glad, and started eating the second we set him into his hutch. On Tuesday and today, I see him moving around a lot in his hutch, and he stretches a lot and seems to want to get out. But I don’t want to yet, because I am afraid he’s still sore and might mess up the stitchings…

Does anyone know when it’s ok to pick Joey up? Thanks!

Btw, I cannot upload a profile picture….I tried many with different types of files (JPEG etc), different pictures, and sizes..but doesnt work …anyone know what’s up with that?

Welcome! Glad the neuter went well! Boys usually recover quickly so it’s likely ok for him to have some quiet out time or be picked up now-also you can inspect the suture and make sure it looks good (inspect once or twice a day-you watch for swelling, fluid -basically what you would watch for if you had a wound-and that’s if you can see his underside without freaking him out; for mine I kind of lifted and used a mirror to peek, or had my boyfriend hold and I looked).

As for pictures-I just copy and paste the image out of photobucket. Often it works to copy and paste just any image. Are you trying to set it up as an attachment?

            Welcome to BB
He can be let outside of his cage now, but try to keep him from jumping onto things for at least a week or so.

Here’s a good guide on how to add pictures: https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/114117/Default.aspx Hope this helps!

I believe the biggest you can make your picture is 300kb if I’m not mistaken
